Beginner Cantonese 1, OR basic numbers, colors, clothes, present & past aspects, and a basic familiarity of Jyutping.
Material
Cantonese for Beginners: Levels 1&2 Curriculum.
Material will be distributed both digitally and in print.

About this Course
Becoming proficient in Cantonese is a long haul, but you have started somewhere in the past and it means a lot! This Beginner Cantonese 2 class is for you to pick up where you left off from your last course of basic Cantonese.
This Beginner Cantonese 2 course is designed for heritage speakers who live with Cantonese family members and have some exposure to Cantonese. In this course, you will be introduced with the basic Cantonese sentence structures and vocabulary, as well as the application of Jyutping and tones, one of the standard Cantonese Romanization systems that is commonly used today.
After studying this 8-week course, you will be able to ask and answer basic questions in Cantonese and hold a simple conversation with your family.
Writing
There will be 15 minutes in each session that is used to study traditional Chinese characters.

- More greetings
- Cooking and eating out
- Traits and states of being
- Daily routines
